February is Dental Health Month!
Dr. Irre will be giving a free seminar on dental health for your pet on January 28th at 6:30pm. The seminar will take place at the clinic, and you MUST register ahead of time if you plan to attend, as seating is limited. Please call the clinic at 604-738-4664 to register. This seminar is for 2-legged family members only, please leave your pets at home.
Throughout the month of February we invite you to bring your pets in for a free dental exam with one of our technicians. We will discuss proper dental hygiene, including teeth brushing and bone chewing habits, as well as critique your pet's mouth and answer any questions you may have.
In addition, any dental procedure under anesthetic booked in February will be given a $50 discount, and should your pet be a candidate, you will receive a free bag of Hill's t/d or Medi-cal dental formula food.
Previous Seminars:
Your Complete Puppy - A Workshop with RocketDog Training
1st hour covers: Puppy socialization, obedience and house training.
2nd hour covers: Your comprehensive guide to raising your puppy. (Note: Your puppy will be crated for the 2nd hour)
When: Saturday, December 12th, 5:30 - 7:30pm
Where: Vancouver Animal Wellness Hospital
Cost: $50.00 per dog; pre-payable in person or over the phone to hold your spot. We will not be taking payments the night of the seminar.

The benefits of Animal Massage
Vancouver Animal Wellness Hospital has partnered with Nicola Way of Vancouver Animal Massage!
On Thursday, April 23rd, Nicola presented a seminar on the benefits of animal massage at the hospital.
"Thank you" to all who attended. It was a wonderful event. Please stay tuned for upcoming seminars.
Nicola is available for massage appointments at Vancouver Animal Wellness Hospital. Appointments are approximately 45 minutes in length and the cost is $60.
Nicola is trained in Tellington Touch through the Greyfriars Rehabilitation and Hydrotherapy Centre in the UK and in deep tissue massage through the Northwest School of Animal Massage. Both techniques enable her to provide a comprehensive range of massage specific to each client.
